The European Commission published its Preparedness Union Strategy to support Member States and enhance Europe's capability to prevent and respond to emerging threats, ranging from climate change to growing geopolitical tensions and conflicts. This Strategy builds on the Niinistö Report aimed at enhancing the European Union’s structural resilience, preparedness and readiness to address today’s growing challenges and future crises.
